South London-based Moses Boyd is a celebrated jazz drummer and producer. Winner of the 2014 Young Jazz Musician Award from the Worshipful Company of Music; ‘Best Jazz Act’ at the 2015 MOBO Awards; and the 2016 ‘John Peel Play More Jazz’ award from the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Award, Moses graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London, in 2016.
Moses is one half of the multi-award-winning duo Binker and Moses, who have released two critically-acclaimed albums via Gearbox Records. Moses also works with his ensemble, The Exodus; on his own as Solo Exodus, and has released music under his own label, Exodus Records, which infuses jazz, grime and electronica influences. A serial collaborator, he has worked with the likes of Lonnie Liston Smith, Ed Motta, Little Simz, Four Tet, Floating Points and many others.
