For your third lesson you will explore not just sound itself but its effect on the world around it!

Coming together in the dark and rather cramped railway arch studio that Robin calls home, they're going to create a new work generated entirely from audio feedback. We also [very] briefly look into 'the history of Howlround' in the hands of sound artists and musicians over the decades, plus video and multimedia artist James Alec Hardy pops in along the way to provide some feedback of his own. If you'd like to get involved all you'll need is a microphone, a loudspeaker, something to plug them both into and a VERY careful grip on the volume control – this is one experiment that can get out of control very quickly!
