MSCTY x Bangkok
MSCTY x Bangkok
A collaboration with two of our favourites – the Erased Tapes label, and Wonderfruit, one of the most inspiring festivals.
overview
Sounds + Textures of Urawa
The project [from arrival-sensory-overload-R&D to mastered tracks + festival premieres] took place entirely over 1 week leading up to 2019's Wonderfruit festival.
The soundtracks produced [by Erased Tapes' Douglas Dare, Daniel Brandt, Midoro Hirano, Hatis Noit, and Rival Consoles, alongside local Thai artists Supergoods and Nannue Tipitier] highlight how much sonic richness this sweltering, urban organ has to explore, and are as diverse as the locations themselves.
These were produced, recorded, and then, performed as premieres at Wonderfruit [which, with its environment of ambitious + dynamic architectural structures, focus on sustainability and harmony with nature, truly is a festival like no other].
